We solicit, we count, we decorate, we plan, we order, we plan some more, we clean, we deal, we train, we beg, we just never seem to stop preparing for our biggest fund raiser of the year.
Whether you are a parent, a potential parent, a local or a tourist - you will enjoy Las Vegas Night. And though Las Vegas Night does have a reputation as the best party on the island - remember - IT IS A FUN- RAISER! Please come and spend oodles and boodles of bucks!
We promise a glamorous evening full of socializing, gaming, auctions, food and dancing. This is our school’s largest fundraiser, with proceeds going to expand our financial aid and scholarship programs. Attire is Island Elegant. Sequins, coat and ties are the norm.
Casino-style GamingGaming opportunities will include blackjack, roulette, craps, Texas Hold ‘Em Poker and bingo. Professional off-island “croupiers” supervise our loyal team of trained volunteer dealers.
Note: Winnings are not redeemable for cash but may be used for bidding in the auctions. Live & Silent AuctionEvery year, hundreds of local and off-island businesses donate items for the Live and Silent Auctions. They may include travel packages, exotic furniture, fine jewelry, art work and restaurant certificates.
As the event draws nearer, check here for the listing of Live and Silent Auction items. $10,000 Cash RaffleOne of the most popular features of Las Vegas Night is the Cash Raffle. The first place prize is $10,000 in cash! The prize drawing is held towards the end of the event, and is the culmination of our evening of fun. (Persons do not need to be present to win.)
Raffle tickets are $5.00 each, and currently available for advance purchase in the Front Office. More locations will be announced in the future. Montessori Class ArtworkEach class at VI Montessori School is creating an original piece of art to be sold in the Live Auction, with the proceeds benefiting each classroom. Every year the quality of these pieces is exceptional, resulting in very competitive bidding among the students’ parents.
