Parent Night - Standardized Testing

Please mark your calendar for an education night on standardized testing for all parents of students in grades 3-10 on Thursday, March 2 beginning at 5:30pm in the Science Pod. We look forward to discussing with you the changes that we have made as a school concerning standardized testing. This meeting will focus on our school's use of standardized testing data, the reason for changing from the IOWA and ACER tests to the ACT Aspire metric, and what this means for you and your student. We encourage you to come with any questions or concerns. Please note that all children in grades 3-10 will be taking the ACT Aspire on Thursday, April 6 and Friday, April 7. Any questions before the meeting can be directed towards Elizabeth Elger, Director of College Counseling, at eelger@vimsia.org.
