Bennett Ott is the Director of the Peter Gruber International Academy, where he leads the IB Middle Years and Diploma Programmes for Grades 6–12. He joined VIMSIA in 2018 and previously served as IB MYP & DP Coordinator, CAS Coordinator, and teacher of DP Global Politics, Theory of Knowledge, MYP Individuals & Societies, and Spanish B.

Bennett has over 18 years of experience in education both in Europe and the United States. He holds a B.A. in Political Science, Latin American Studies, and History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has completed advanced IB leadership training across both the MYP and DP. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
