Finance and Fundraising Corner

Historically, April and May are the tightest months on the school’s cash flow position.

What can I do to help?

  1. All school and extracurricular fees for 2022/2023 should be paid off by now. If you have outstanding tuition fees for this or past years, please square up with the school so we can continue to meet our commitments!

  2. Annual Contracts: Contracts need to be turned in with a $500 deposit, or your student’s place in enrolment for the upcoming school year is not guaranteed. Those who have turned in contracts without the deposit, please do so immediately.

  3. If you can afford it, the school asks that you choose the option to pay your upcoming full year school fees in advance.

  4. If you are connected with an EDC corporation, family Foundation or any local business, please contact lchamelyaqui@gmail.com to discuss tax deductible, annual planned giving and corporate donations.

ANNUAL FUND UPDATE

Why
VIMSIA has been subsidizing each student’s tuition costs to the tune of $4000 per year. At 310 students, the gap puts substantial pressure on the school’s budget.

Big Ask
Parents who can afford should consider a one-off tax-deductible donation to the school to meet or exceed the gap prior to the end of June 2023

Minimum Ask
Please commit a gift of $100 per student and ask grandparents, family and friends in your immediate circle to match or exceed your gift.

How
Give donations to Kathy Huttel, on at http://www.vimsia.org/donate, and note in the memo: Annual Fund, o.b.o. Student Name
