VIMSIA Selected for DOH Pilot Program

Good day VIMSIA Families,

I am excited to announce that VIMSIA has been selected to participate in VIDOH's school absenteeism surveillance pilot program. Please see DOH's letter for detailed information here. 

To succeed in this program, VIMSIA needs the help of our parents. When your child is out sick please email myself (at scolarossi@vimisia.org) and include their symptoms. The information collected is completely anonymous and the student's name(s) will not be included in the data collection. This helps VIMSIA and DOH see where there is an uptake of certain symptoms/illnesses.  

I truly appreciate your participation in this new essential program in disease prevention. The best thing we can do to mitigate the spread of illness is to keep children home when they are sick.  Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
