This past weekend, January 14-15th, VIMSIA sailors participated in the Opti and 420 competitions in the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Regatta at St. Thomas Yacht Club. Since 1996, the MLK Regatta at the STYC has served as an exciting kickoff to the competitive winter and spring racing schedule. Here are the VIMSIA results:

Opti Green:
Hunter Reinbold placed 2nd
Chloe Robinson placed 7th

Opti Champ:
Mariana Brunt placed 6th
Rowan Walters placed 12th

C420:
Santiago Brunt and Aurora Rodriguez placed 3rd
Zia Zucker and Ellis Wisehart placed 5th
Jackson Auchicloss and Amelie Zucker placed 6th
